A BOS Decommissioning Specialist will visit the space to provide consultation and gather preliminary information to help clients understand the value of their existing furniture, timelines and options for blending, reuse and asset management if appropriate.
From electricians to building staff, BOS will coordinate with all trades and professionals to ensure schedules are met and that your project stays on time and on budget.
We can also help to accommodate move phases and any team members who may be in transitional states between spaces.

Removal
With both union and non-union installation teams in-house, BOS has the flexibility and capability to handle any size job in any location. Our own fleet of trucks is on call to remove your furniture and deliver it to our 150,000 square foot warehouse in Roselle, IL.
Once the decommissioned furniture is removed, our professionals clean up your space, ensuring that it looks better than when we arrived.

Furniture details we record:
Final Walk Through
Packing from new product is reused to package/protect our used product in warehouse and for delivery to job site.
Chair boxes are reused for storing hardware, rails, and components.
We recycle cardboard and white paper.
4 to 5 thousand workstations or private offices (equalling over 1,380 tons) are diverted from landfills every year.
We sell 80% of what is brought in our warehouse from our retail showroom floor, including chairs, private offices, tables, workstations, storage and files.
We recycle 500 tons of metal yearly (1 metal scrap trailer weekly).
